Collection of Music sheets consists of 27 units: six are hand-written (manuscripts) and twenty-one was printed. It was purchased in 2015 from the descendent of the Sorkočević family (famous composers) and was processed and listed by musicologist Vjera Katalenić.
The hand-written documents date from the late 18th and early 19th century and consists of music sheets by composers G. Sarti, G. Paisiello, D. Cimarosa, and Tommaso Resti who resided and composed in Dubrovnik in the 19th century. The music sheets were most likely acquired for the use of the first Croatian female composer Jelena Pucić Sorkočević, nee Ranjina (1784-1865), as proved by the marginalia on some of the sheets (signed Elena Luisa Ragnina). The printed music scores contain twelve titles from the same time period, and they are by German-speaking composers, including first editions of Beethoven, Mozart and Paer. Other printed music sheets were published in 19th and 20th centuries and bear signatures by their owners Vernazza and Katić from the same family.
