The Reference Collection holds numerous Croatian and international encyclopedias, lexicons, dictionaries and other referential works. Among the more valuable editions are Encyclopedias Britannica, the original Larousse encyclopedia, all Croatian encyclopedias published by the Miroslav Krleža Lexicographic Institute, and the works by Yugoslav (and Croatian) Academy of Arts and Sciences.
